Ron Perkins

Say hello to our melodious music minister, Ron Perkins! Ron is a Christian Educator who teaches at Rock Springs Christian Academy. Ron's favorite song is "It is Well with My Soul" (which is also his wife's favorite song, and their Redeemer class song from Asbury College). Ron's loves a good steak and the movie "Clue". If Ron wrote a book, it would be "Ron On..." (a collection of essays on life, family, art, and culture). One of the the things on Ron's bucket list is to take his wife to Ireland for a year while they write and travel. If he had a superpower, he would want to speak and write in any language. His favorite Scripture is John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." On fun fact about Ron, he preached his first sermon in church when he was eleven. Ron says, "Stark Methodist is the most kindhearted and genuinely caring congregation I've ever been part of. It's not a church you passively attend...it's a church in which, and through which, you're actively involved." Join Ron on Wednesday nights at 6:30 for choir practice!
